Quality Inn Van Horn

decent stay but a few improvements needed

The breakfast options were varied, with fresh items that catered to different tastes. The staff member responsible for the breakfast area put in great effort to keep everything clean and inviting.

The overall comfort of the room fell short of expectations.

It has ideal and favourable location on I-10.

Good area, incredibly comfortable and ideal location, very close to trucks and convenience store. Modern rooms with a king bed, very helpful and attentive stuff. Savoury eggs and bacon to every taste.

The staff were friendly, and the breakfast had generous options. The room was clean but outdated, and noise from the nearby freeway was noticeable. It suited my budget needs well during my travels, although I wouldn't choose this place for an extended stay.

Large room with queen bed, sanitizer for a really good stay for a road trip stop. Fast check-in, late check-out. No charge for wake up service and ironing too.

It was just a suitable option for strolling in Van Horn with reasonable price. The room had a comfortable bed which helped after a long drive. Check your phones for the correct time to avoid missing out on breakfast.

While doing the very long drive through Texas this Quality Inn was a welcome find. Easy to access and comfortable, quiet and clean. These are our priorities when driving long days.

Quality Inn is just another motel. Nothing special. It's a place to sleep. Don't look for any of the amenities that you find at other Quality Inns. You can't use the brand "Quality" as a guide. At least, not with this one. The breakfast was OK, though.

Upon arrival, I was disappointed to find my reserved room was unavailable, leaving only an accessible room.

we had nonsmoking rooms and several rooms had smell of smoke.

The Hot Breakfast was excellent, with varied food choices.

By unknowingly making reservations through a third person (Booked.net), we did not qualify for a night's credit in the Choice Program. I doubt if I will do this again.

Easy to find, room was clean, fresh and updated, and their breakfast was first rate. The manager bent over backwards to accommodate our special needs request, and he and his staff were most polite and professional. The Quality Inn of Van Horn will ALWAYS be our first choice everytime we are within 100 miles of Van Horn, Texas

Absolutely nothing to complain about.

Clean, comfortable, no bugs or mildew. Quiet, convenient to a gas station with groceries and grill, McDonalds near by.

The outside appearance was dull and unkempt and gave the appearance of being in a "depressed" state. Not scary, but made me aware of my surroundings and so I was in my room before dark. The pool was not filled, but I would not have used it any way. So I felt the price was more than it should have been.

The thing we found the best was how comfortable the mattresses were we all slept like rocks
